My Pops

I think My Pops is becoming a little over protective in his retirement.

He's in the garage anchoring a 750 pound gun safe to the cement floor.

Christy said that if a thiefe is smart enough to even pull off a heist of said safef, let them have it!

Now his days in retirement consist of working. On anything he can think of around the house.

(He's a retired fire captain 'nuff said)

Great Cinema

No Question (Iron and Wine) is a great artist.

Before he was a musician he was a film professor, (making films) Im willing to bet money this is one of his own.
Enjoy. "Lions Mane"

Also watch the "Grunge" video that comes up in the list after the video is over. Its pretty hilarious.

The Shepherds Dog

The newest Iron and wine album.

Though almost a year old, and me being a huge fan, I just recently got it. And I love it!
It's much more musically involved, with sitar, accordion, piano and of course his acoustic guitar. His lyrics are just as confusing as they ever were, and his voice is just as soothing. The Music is definitely very different from his quiet acoustic guitar, with his hypnotic lullaby's. Some of the great tracks are... well all, but the ones that stand out to me are White Tooth Man, Wolves (Song of the Shepherds Dog), Love song of the Buzzard, House on the Sea and of course Boy With a Coin.

Go out and buy it, download it, steal it, eavesdrop it, what ever.

I cant find the other two tracks of the Boy With a Coin Single.

I love Mexican Food!

Particularly Burritos and Chimi's. Quesadillas are fantastic too and so are Nachos. I also enjoy cooking Mexican food, a lot. I take pride in my Mexican style cooking. Burritos and Quesadillas are my specialty and lately Nachos.

We have what we call "Nacho Night" and we get sick off giant piles of nachos and cheap Mexican beer. Its fun. Your all invited next time.

The best Mexican place I've ever eaten was at an old bus converted into a little taqueria. we called it the "Taco Bus". It's in Turlock. Go there!

The second best place is closer to home, in Lincoln another small taqueria on F street called Los Gallos. Go there!

Xiochatl. Thats how the Mayans used to spell chocolate. Distantly related to Mexican food.

Nevada

Is a pretty cool state. I used to be the one to say things like

"You know whats in Nevada? Nothing!"

Thats still true, except for our friends. But for some reason I really like Carson City.

I'm weird.

And I'm not feeling very creative.

The Best thing EVER

I saw the best thing ever in the history of man kind. We were in Rocklin, and we drove by this house in the drive way was the best thing ever. It was... an early 90's toyota camry.

But thats not all.

It was lifted and it had huge mud tires. I always wanted to do that to my celica.

Again, the best thing ever.

Netflix

Netflix is great.

We signed up two days ago, and we should be getting our movies today. So to make a long story short, we have aprox. 200 movies in our queue, and we keep adding more. We ordered so many that when we went to click on the most recent addition, a window popped up and told us to get up off the couch, stop watching movies, and get a life.

It really did, try it.

Presidential Candidates

THEY ALL SUCK!

Heres my list of the much deserving in not any real order.

King Kong

Thats it for now.

First One

First One... Ok so here it is.

What if God got tired of standing up there in Heaven so he turned all the mountains into chairs and sat down on random mountains. The flat ones wouldn't be called Mesas any more. They'd be called Sillas.
